BluMoon started unofficially in 1989 as a small one woman crafting business. I, Emily Gaston would do floral arrangements, painted clothing, beaded jewelry and more, then sell my wares at church bazaars, flea markets, tag sales and craft shows. Over the years, I have fine tuned my talents becoming a master jeweler, setting stones and creating fine jewelry pieces and still pursuing other fine crafts that enhance well being. Crafts such as glycerin and cream soap making, soy candles, artistic expressions, musical expressions, pottery and ceramics, plus much more. I have recently enlisted some new 'hankers' to help me. Hankers are Independent Contractors that I teach some of my techniques to so I can fulfill more orders both large and small in a timely manner.
I am now a single mother of a beautiful little girl and I must say that she inspires me more and more everyday. So, don't be surprised at the many new projects geared for and around small children. I believe the more involved you are in your child's life, the better it will be.
BluMoon now retails in 3 stores as well as on ebay and here online. We have catalogs for mail order and several fundraiser flyers for local schools. BluMoon always donates a portion of profits to an educational facility.
